Conventional stucco cladding over steel frame structure

LOCATION
Eugene, Oregon

SITUATION
The facility manager responsible for maintaining the structure contacted Western Architectual (WA) to assess the condition of the stadium’s skybox viewing area.

This invasive investigation included the stucco cladding, roof system, window conditions and all other waterproofing that comprised the envelope. WA also inspected the underlying structural system for signs of deterioration.

SOLUTION
Western Architectural provided a full report with detailed photos, narrative and lab analysis of the structure’s roof system, stairwells, elevated walls, stucco cladding. The report gave the facility manager a summary of findings and a detailed repair plan for remediating the situation.

Because of the extensive nature of the repairs needed to the stucco cladding, facia, roofing and underlying steel structure, WA assisted the client by overseeing these repairs and inspecting the final work performed.
