LOCATION
Tualatin, Oregon

SITUATION
The owners of this apartment complex called Western Architectural (WA) to perform a building envelope condition assessment. Invasive inspections of the siding, roof and decks showed defects from the building’s construction that had resulted in water intrusion and other underlying structural damage.

SOLUTION
Based on these findings, WA determined that a total removal and replacement of the sidings was necessary. Western Architectual documented these findings and served as a consulting expert in litigation, which helped the owners recover the cost of repairs from the original construction team.
