Services for single-family homes

When your home needs repair or remodeling, Western Architectural can perform simple site walk-throughs and/or invasive investigations to identify the cause and treatment of your leaks, deterioration or damage due to weather.

Today’s booming residential construction industry has introduced many innovations in materials and construction methods. However, some of these materials, when improperly installed, can allow the weather to damage your home.

When Western Architectural works with a single-family home, we take a comprehensive view of your structure’s intended use and lifespan, materials used, architectural and construction plans, and material composition. We combine this information with scientific analysis and the latest weatherization industry knowledge to design and recommend a solution that will meet the specific needs for your home.

Generally, we provide single-family services in four areas:

Repair and restoration

We recommend fully analyzing the exterior envelope system (siding, roofing, etc.) as your starting point. Western Architectual will review your home’s plans, contractor project logs, and perform in-depth forensic inspections to ensure you get an objective and thorough perspective on the condition of your home’s exterior envelope.

When contractors or repairs are involved, WA can perform daily or weekly inspections, documenting work with photos and reports on your behalf, to ensure that the materials are installed per design, building code and manufacturer requirements.

We can also provide certified warranty inspections for your Sto or Dryvit brand EIFS and Stucco.

Planning to keep the weather out

When you’re planning and designing your home, a little careful preparation can ensure that your home stays weather-tight and maintains its integrity for years. This will help prevent unforeseen damages and expenses down the road, when you sell or remodel your home.

New Home Construction

As part of your design and construction team, Western Architectural works with your architect and builder. We provide complete building envelope waterproofing consulting services to ensure the integrity of your home.

Whether we are providing document assistance, or review and construction management, our New Construction Services can provide the professional building envelope technology needed to protect your home.
